VN friends, as with my first two pieces (Neyland Stadium and Pat), I wanted to get some ideas for my next work. PLEASE give me your feedback and/or ideas.

So far, I have two on the table. Whatever idea I go with, I would like to do some good with my work and donate to a good cause. So far, we have donated over $4,500 from the Pat piece, and I would like to continue raising money.

IDEA #1: "Tennessee's Greatest Volunteers"

This piece would feature the four Vols who lost their lives in WWII. The idea here is to give a face to the names we have displayed inside the stadium. Proceeds from each sale could benefit wounded vets.

IDEA #2: "Smokey"

While there are several images of Smokey, I thought it would be interesting to have a real gritty, lifelike portrait in the same style as my Neyland Print. Proceeds here could benefit a local animal shelter.

Please feel free to offer your own ideas too if you have them. While I would like to benefit a good cause, it also has to sell before we can donate anything.

# 1 is awesome and # 2 is a close second. If you are interested in rasing money from a business stand point the smokey one might rasie more money but # 1 is a great idea.

Like the first idea but let's be honest that's not going to sell. A well done picture of Smokey will do well in the sales department, however.

I also like:
Pride of the Southland
Ray Mears
Vol Navy
The Hill (Ayres Hall)

I think idea #1 is really powerful. I think it would sell well, especially if it was accompanied by a bio on each man. I'll be down for at least 2 of those prints.

These all sound great. I would just add to these a view from the tunnel of running through the T. Always one of my favorites.

I myself am a little partial to #1, but as mentioned before I wonder if it would sell. I imagine the four of them in their football uniforms with their name, birth death, and where exactly they served. It would also have a bio on the back.

I just wonder if that's something people would want on their wall.

You do great work. I have asked the family for one of the framed Neyland prints for a Father's Day or birthday gift this year.

I have seen your Neyland Stadium drawing on the website, but have you done one of Neyland himself? I really love the pic of him and the players. I think someone has this as their Avy. I think it would look classic in black and white.

Wild idea here. Why not cut and paste the best parts of both ideas. A picture of smokey titled grizzled veteran or something and proceeds to the wounded vets? Like many have mentioned Smokey is going to appeal to the widest audience and personally I prefer charities for people. Nothing against animals just priorities and all.

LOVE both ideas, and great work. As a vet, I like the first idea if I had to choose. That'd be an awesome print to have hanging in the gameroom!

What if you incorporated the inside of the stadium, with each players face near their name? With the stadium in the print as well, it would be relevant to every Vols fan, and make them proud at the same time.

#1 is an AMAZING idea. Not only does it mean something to Vols fans, but a deeper meaning to this country. NUMBER ONE NEXT!
