I see this scenario and the last line is bs. If we lose we are not supposed that is utter BS to say, well TN should have taken care of business, all while other teams are choosing to not a play a game because it does not meet their every requirements.
jeez. relax buddy. these are 1st world problems we're dealing with today, vs. what the n. east coast of FL, SC and NC coasts are dealing with.
if you want to fault FL and/or LSU for not playing the game, fault them for not making the decision on Tuesday to play it Thursday.
now that it's happened, there's no way to play it this weekend.

Should Tennessee go ahead and prepare for a law suit in the event the SEC front office fumbles this whole LSU/Florida rescheduling?
I know there is a written rule in the Bylaws. But, anything can be contested in court or clarified or made an exception to.
Sick of how this may effect the rest of the conference and not just benefiting both teams.
In theory LSU could win out and be SEC West Champs also. Not likely, but could happen. If Bama and A&M flop.
Wouldn't it really be some **** if LSU and UF play in ATL representing their respective divisions?
that's not gonna happen. like i siap, just the people alone, need to put the game on, equipment, facilities, concessions, hell even some of they players likely....a lot of those people evacuated, and many likely have real issues to deal with when they get home...flooding, broken windows, roofs, getting food/supplies, is power on?...not to mention travelling in to Gainesville. i haven't heard, but are airports back open? The storm will be past Gainesville in an hour or 2. Sankey needs to let both schools know the game will be played on Sunday or Monday evening. That would give both teams more than 48 hours to make arrangements.
because we and LSU agreed to do it.Why we went to LSU on a Monday night and played in 2005 after a Hurricane we flew in kicked they're but and flew home why can't LSU do that to florida?
if lsu wins out, and bama only has 1 loss, alabama will win the sec west, since lsu will be missing one game.
the only way this even becomes a legit option on the table is if FL is in fact 6-1 and we're 6-2 at the end of the season. and at best, we wouldn't know that til after the Vandy game, which leaves a week til the title game. there may simply not be enough time for legal proceedings to make a difference in time for that game.
at this point, i think you proceed understanding that the end game is going to be that the game won't be played. and we still control our destiny, so win 1 of the next two, and this isn't as big an issue unless we lose a game we're not supposed to, and in that case, we may just not deserve to go.
but...just to be safe....you root like hell for GA and ARkansas. and then for good measure, you root for Auburn over GA.
I think the best option is we win out and this doesn't matter.
2. Why aren't the laws written by wins instead of %? Then the team moving a game would have pressure to figure out how to play it.
That's evidently not correct according to the SEC rules. Just heard Bruce Feldman on Dan Patrick show say a 6-1 Florida or 6-1 LSU, with respective head to head losses to Tennessee and Alabama, would go to the SECCG based on win % ....6-1 vs 6-2, were Tennessee and Alabama to have 2 SEC losses. In other words, the first tiebreaker, head to head outcomes, would be rendered moot.
LOL....what jurisdiction shall we file suit in and when can we expect a final ruling .....etc...:no:Should Tennessee go ahead and prepare for a law suit in the event the SEC front office fumbles this whole LSU/Florida rescheduling?

You are missing the point the point is you play all your games cause crap happens. this not play the game or sec buy out the non conference game is bsif we wouldn't have the penalties on that drive that kept the drive going, we'd have Sutton for sure. he shouldn't have even been on the field. they should have punted 3 plays previous.:banghead2:
