I also pick Florida to win the National Championship. It doesn't make me any less of a Vol.

True. Since we're the Volunteers we should all believe in our service men and women. With that said, I think the National title game will be between Army and the Quantico Marines.

You're right RNVol, it makes no sense that someone would vote that the best team in the country will end up winning the national championship...

sec fans go for other sec teams usually unless their team isplaying them or they need them to loose to get to the sec championship or somthing like that. its a southern football thing i guess its not bs

the question wasn't "who do you want to win the national title"

it was "who do you think will win the national title"

like an espn poll matters.

I don't see the complaint here. most everyone is saying UF will win it already. I don't see why a state with teams in the same conference at them would agree on that. The poll doesnt ask if UF will go defeated or if UF will clobber TN or something, if you're suggesting that the voters of a general question like such should automatically think on those terms

You are aware that not only is USC going to have to bring in a new QB since Sanchez left, but that they decided to go with a freshman at camp's end right?

that combination hardly ever - or at least rarely - nets you a national championship

Seriously...Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. Based on UF's easy schedule for the most part... they have a huge edge. Our schedule is brutal compared to UF's.

Alabama is the only one on that list that would have a valid reason not to pick FL if you are a realistic fan.
