Tennessee Picked By ESPN as Final Four team

I'm not getting on the bandwagon again! I will just enjoy the games and take the season as it comes. Hopefully, we get a reasonable starting point in the NCAA and get on a run. Takes a lot of luck in the draw and, as the tourney unfolds, to win it all.

So much for ESPN hates us on this one. Based on BPI, Houston is listed as 54.9% chance of Final Four and Tennessee comes in 2nd with 46.2%. Bama 33.4% and UCLA 25.7%. How sweet would it be to beat Bama in the Finals!

While I don't think ESPN hates us, they do have head scratching moments regarding our teams at times. I am certain however, their computer doesn't hate us.

Depends on which team shows up . They have shown they can’t handle success and win multiple games in a row lately .

My favorite line from the article...
Because of Purdue's loss to Indiana yesterday, Houston or Tennessee could overtake them as the No. 1 team in the AP top 25 when it is released tomorrow afternoon.
I'm not sure they are paying close attention.

And still yet, this is an analytical formula picking us, not an ESPN writer's opinion.

I hope they are right as I would love to watch a final four live and celebrate a TN natty in one of the three primary sports.

All part of the grand ESPN conspiracy against UT I’ve read about on here. They hate us, you know. They’re really going all out to sabotage us now.

ESPN has noticed we cannot perform under the pressure of a high ranking. This is a clever well thought out pre-tournament jinx. Relax. ESPN still hates us.

So the ESPN computer actually believes this team can win 5 or 6 games in the post season? Nope!

Offense is going to need to be better unless we want to be on the bad end of someone else's cinderella story
Someone on Twitter made a really good point that I haven't though about and the point was it's the time of year when legs are tired. I really hope that's the case. We're getting open shots and we missed a LOT of point blank shots the other day, especially toward the end when we had a chance to put Auburn away... After watching it again, I felt as though we missed good looks and Auburn never had good looks, which is why they shot so poorly.

While I don’t think ESPN hates us…that’s certainly NOT why I don’t watch. It’s the “collusion with indoctrination” that I abhor. ESPN is to be watched like a roaring Lion. BUT…they do have some solid folks working for them.

This is the way to be. Everyone’s season ends in some level of disappointment except for 1 team. Just enjoy the ride. It’s fun!

I generally feel this way about Barnes teams. But last year we ran through the SEC tourney like a not knife through butter. So maybe that’s not the case.

Or they could get knocked out by a 16 seed. You never know which team is going to show up and it’s maddening
