Tough question.

I say the schedule would have more to do with that, than how good either team is.

ND could win 9 games next year, with their schedule. But win 6 with ours. (maybe)

Scheduling has alot to do with this, ND has so many gimme game its not funning. But after saying that, ND was not in the same bad situation as UT with players. If they can retain most of the commits my vote would be ND since UT schedule it going to be tough next year.

It's probably ND. We have a tougher schedule and we'll have more depth next year, but still not enough to be expecting a great season. Kelly can coach, and ND has players.

They have the #1 qb in the country, from the 2007 class, that will take over. QB will not be a problem.

He won't be on Clausen's level. They're going to be bad next year, that defense is atrocious.

He was recruited by more schools than JC was. He IS on his level. Now, his supporting cast, that is a different matter, I agree.

In 2008 didn't we have a highly touted 5-star HS QB in the wings? How did that turn out?....lol

You are correct...but he will have a great coach and system to play for. Just like our JC did this year. Just think what could have been with him.

Don't get me wrong, I hate ND. I just think that the QB spot is one of their only strong points going into next year.

Jimmy Clausen? He could have named his school. There is no guarantee he is going to be as good.

I think the coaching change will improve Notre Dame's defense. Whoever is the new DC will probably be a better coordinator than Jon Tenuta.

I agree that there is never any guarantee. I am just saying that this guy was better than Clausen coming out.

We have a much tougher schedule but they are losing the heart and soul their team.
