Tennessee opens as a 15 point favorite over KY

Georgia had a fit trying to stop the wildcat at times, the Vols shouldn't be much different

Especially with our best 3 DTs out. Plus Paul Bain who was playing well. I don't like the matchup

I think the line is about right. Kentucky is coming off an emotional loss to a not so good UGA team and are now very unlikely to reach the SEC championship game. Plus, the game is in Neyland.

Kentucky wants to beat us. We are their bowl game.

15 does seem high in a rivalry game like this. If I were a betting man, I'd certainly take UK and the points in this one.

I'm expecting Tennessee to lose. The reason is simple. I saw a D4H post in another thread. We are doomed.

The recent history of the two programs indicates it's not an unreasonable spread.

The 3 times Butch and Stoops met on the gridiron so far, the margins of victory have been 13, 34, and 31 points.

Vegas bookies pay attention to recent history, too.

Every year Kentucky is back and then they lose to GA, FL and Tennessee. This year is no different. Tennessee wins big.

From what I saw GA could not stop that "Wildcat" direct snap to the HB formation KY was running. Which given our deficiencies on the DL seems to scare me as well.

Pagin Sal Sunseri....Paging Sal Sunseri....He can develop a game plan to stop the WR Wildcat I bet ya.

Not seeing a 15pt win for us. Would enjoy it but KY might keep this really close.

I had unpleasant visions watching Georgia try and stop Kentucky's wildcat formation.....Deja Vu?
Bob Shoop will have his hands full, no?

Exactly. Hell I still remember some dumb poster on VN that said UK would upset Tennessee last year in Commonwealth. I expect this year to be no different.

It's Kentucky...we bank 50!

Because of your frequent use of emojis, I sometimes don't know what you mean.

No big deal, just wish I knew if that was your intention.:)

I'm not sure what to make of this one. If our defense were healthy I'd say we cover and then some. Realistically, we have recruited well enough to still do so, but after losing to USC, I'm not sure of anything anymore about this team.

Perhaps we wanted to make a statement last week, perhaps Tenn Tech is just that terrible, maybe both. If not, I can definitely see UK keeping it close, but I still think we win at home.
