Vanderbilt's got a pretty good defense. I feel like this will be close, especially if UT goes up 7-10 points. Then the beloved conservative play calling will begin.

Never count out a rivalry game. This is vandy's super bowl. If UT can score 21+ then they should win, but I've seen stranger things.

17 has not been a good number for us this year. I think every comeback this year involved us having 17. Lets just make it 70-3.

A week ago - even after the Vols prrformance - I was very worried. However, the fact they couldn't score on A&M? That's depressing if you're a Vandy fan.

Coach Cafego was another one that despised em. I miss Coach C., but our specialty teams are just now getting up the level of his; I'd think he'd approve of that.

We should beat them handily. Problem is they ALWAYS bring their A game against us. When was the last time we blew them out? 2006 is the last time I can recall.

We're playing a crap team on a crap field. If we can consistently move the ball by running between the tackles, let's do it the whole game and try not to get anybody hurt. Who the hell cares if it's a low-scoring snooze-fest. We need to be solid for a bowl opponent.

But, ummmm... let's not overlook Vandy or anything though.

Defininitely! Coach Cafego was THE vandie-hater, but my post was to elicit responses from those who are still around & famous for dumping on the commode-doors. Pretty certain G. Cafego would NOT be interested in VN or any other social media, but he would give his stamp of approval to our special teams. :hi:

I think it will look more like the Mizzou game than some of VolNation can tolerate.

Until NCAA decides to change the rules and make the games judged like gymnastics or figure skating, I don't really care. 6-3 is fine with me as long as we have the 6.

Over the last 10 years we've won by around 5 points on average in this game. Gamblers take caution. I'll be happy with a win, period!

I would really like it if Butch finally at the end of the season would just keep his foot on the gas for four quarters and end the regular season with a blowout.... I know Vandy's D is really solid, but it can't be any better than Mizz's, and with home field advantage, we should be able to turn some of those FG's from this past Saturday into TD's this Saturday.... GBO
