It might be a bit early for them to have set it, but I'm sure it'll be the game of the day considering the early season classic that we had.

way too early for a tip time at the moment. mark it down though, the game will be a good one and i wouldn't be surprised if our vols pull out a victory. ohio state isn't as good as their record sounds.

You are so right. Ohio state is overrated I think alot of temas that thye have beaten have fell into the hype that the media gives them. Take away the news and hype then they are just an average team !

I wish OSU had stomped Xavier - hope X didn't give them a wake-up call.

I read on some thread here from a Vol fan apparently in Columbus this weekend that the OSU locals were cracking on UT, more than the typical fan wanting to see an upset. Hopefully the Bucks and the 45 year old have the same opinion as their fans.

P.S. Only a toolbag with too much time on their hands says "the" before their school.

Good news is, Pearl and company have already scouted this team. Bad news is, Ohio State has also scouted us. Should be an interesting second meeting this year.

Oden had a pretty big game agaisnt us...that cant happen this time around...

Oden is going to have a pretty good game against anybody he faces...he's just that good. What really hurt OSU last time we played were their guard play and right now their guards are doing very well.

I really think OS didn't want to face us again. They know they got a gift. I wouldn't want to play any other #1 seed. Not looking ahead (well maybe a little), but go Tigers.

OSU can still turn it over and they're still young like us. I know at the end of the season, freshmen aren't freshmen anymore, but it doesn't change the fact there will be a lot of youth on the floor.

I think it can if Lofton balances it out. Didn't Chism play Oden pretty tough in that second half? I could have sworn he did.

Chism is a different player now then when we first played them. I don't know if he was even starting yet.

Xavier took them to the absolute brink. Oden lost his cool at the end of that game, too...we all saw him shove that Xavier guy that should have been a T. I have an Ohio state friend thats alum and he readily admits they arent #1 material and that they rely too much on the 3. Plus Oden doesnt have much in terms of low-post shots or moves.

I really believe we can beat them. Thats why I have UT in the elite 8. And to think my co-workers said I was a homer for picking them to the sweet 16. Work is gonna be SWEET tomorrow...well, kinda.

If he can stay out of foul trouble. He didn't play smart today getting those 2 fouls in 5 seconds.

Yeah, the last time UT played them their guards were really slumping. Looks like they are playing really well right now.

I believe oden is overrated, he is definatly not ready for the NBA. Xavier proved that you dont have to be 7'1 to guard this guy. Just put your body on him and it takes him out of his game. They would have a field day on a guy like oden in the NBA

I think Ohio St. struggles when they play teams with unconventional big men -- Oden gets lost a little defensively when he doesn't have a good matchup with another big post player.

He really struggled with foul trouble against Xavier because Justin Cage was too quick for him and pulled him out on the perimeter...Wayne Chism can do the same for us. Oden may matchup with Childress when he's on the floor, but Ryan's not a scoring threat in the post, so it really doesn't help OSU.
