Everyone realizes that this list is wrong right? Bama has 778 and UT has 776. MrSEC.com has already posted another article debunking their first one. UT is still number two.
Darn. I was just getting ready to celebrate the 5-7 season as a huge success afterall until I got to this post. This is correct.
1. Alabama - 778
2. Tennessee - 776
These numbers can be found at Cfbdatawarehouse.com, and the University of Tennessee's official website. The author of the original article has retracted his statement - as was posted in the first few responses in this thread. Alabama still leads all time.

If you have lived there you would know what I mean!!
Mr. Sec didn't say which one was right. He just pointed out that the media guides and the other stats site had discrepencies. And, the differences between UT's media guide and the stats site took wins out of our win column, while Alabama's differences gave them more wins. This makes me think that Bama is fudging numbers in their record keeping (just like all of the "Championships" they have), while UT might be recording history with a little more discipline.
Every record book has it Bama two ahead of UT except that one, which is wrong. You can look at every win ever by both teams and count if you wish. Its on CFBDW.
