Tennessee & Nico Iamaleava are in active contract negotiations ahead of the 2025 season

Nico is a dumbass or whoever is controlling his situation

A potential draft year for him and he pulls this before spring practice lol... I can't remember the last time a UT athlete gave themselves such a bad look....

Tyler Baron and all his drama around South Carolina in 2022 was pretty bad.

Fans will start to lose interest in the current model. Something has to be done.

I was losing interest in the 2010-2020 model where you could pencil in Alabama or Georgia as SEC Champion, Oklahoma as Big12 Champion, Clemson as ACC Champion, and Ohio State as B1G every year.

It was hard on me, I almost quit the sport. I remember seeing us getting beat by 5+ TDs every year against Alabama and losing to crappy Florida teams (well that still happened in 2023 and almost this year).

That period made me want to quick football and drove disinterest. At least there is parity now.

Well, when we were paying them too, we routinely beat bama. The playing field was level.
Only thing that changed was we let Fulmer go.

No we didn't we lost fourteen straight... FOURTEEN STRAIGHT to Alabama. That is Vandy level ineptitude. You can also calculate our HORRID records against Florida and Georgia in that time frame as well. Heck, we still CAN'T beat Georgia.

Tennessee Football has, perhaps, been the most Disappointing thing in my life time.

for there to be success there has to be a fit. If skipping practice was due to money, that just isn’t acceptable to earn my $$$. I don’t have much and would rather spend it watching an 8-4 team with people who want to be here, and aren’t the next sanders kid. If he stays cool, but I’ll never root for the kid with him trying to extort the fans for more money.

If Faizon plays the way we think he will, he will get paid.

Nico and his family wanted more money from average to below average results

I will say this, I tend to trust Faizon slightly more because he is from North Carolina vs. California. He is from this area instead of being from an area that is basically a different world.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think it looks a lot more embarrassing for that family than it does for Tennessee.
UF found a replacement. So will UT. Regardless, I'm more than fine rolling with what's on the roster and accept the year that comes rather than buckle to Nico and Co. Won't complain one bit about how his replacement plays.

And there's a pretty good chance his replacement performs better than he did last year

Faizon from what I've seen has the potential to be an all time great at TN. The kid plays at a different level.

Time will tell

Im thinking you are responding to the wrong post. I didn’t say anything about that.
