I cannot imagine any team wants to play against UT in the SEC tourney regardless of what slot they earn. CKC has done an amazing job in year one of her tenure, she has a team already that is super dangerous. I think they are automatic semi finalists for that tourney, but there is upside of course with how they are playing.

Counting all the ludicrous amount of money they throw at their college football players and coaches, an athletic director may need to look for work as well. The coolest part of your post is that Coop, Zee, Boyd and Ruby (NTM ALyssa) are all coming back next year

Hmmm… no. With the additions of u-tex and OU, there are now 6 teams west of the Mississippi. The geographic center of the current SEC is somewhere around Memphis. Rotating each year between Atlanta and Nashville makes the most sense. Awarding the contract to one city for several years gives the city team an advantage too many times in a row.

Unlike some of them are saying in this discussion I think 35 percent from the three and 45 to 47 percent overall can beat anybody we play. I don't think we have to hit 39 to 41 percent from the three.

Who said that? A month ago we would have killed to have 35/45. Absolutely we win with those numbers.

But the 35% has to be bc we shoot 3s consistently in that range, not bc we shoot 60% sometimes and 20% sometimes. That's exactly what Jewel has been consistently doing the last month and thus the win streak. Just pls Lord, let it continue.

I think he's just trying to be fair to her. At the same time, he's being unfair not to point out how much harder the league is now. If TX and OK weren't in the league the record would def be better.

I don't get why people say this is a move away from Pat ball, esp on D. Nothing Holly or Kellie ever thought about is as close to Pat's philosophy as this team is. Pat lived and breathed overplay energy and the turnovers it forced. Also loved the rebounding edge and the putbacks it enabled. Don't think she would have loved 3 chunking but we've moved away from that now anyway.

The one guy said when we get to the sweet sixteen we could win shooting 39 to 41 from the three. I think we can win shooting 35 and 45 to 47 overall. Every game we've lost we didn't do that and some were 35 overall. If we had went 35 from the three and 45 to 47 overall every game we might be undefeated would have to look that up, but it certainly would be 2 losses or less.
