You are confused, He is saying the picture is floating around on Twitter, that doesn't mean that Austin posted it on Twitter. This is a pic from Volquest of Austin commenting. I've seen it on Twitter too and seems others say this. We will see if it is true.

One thing is for sure, watching Alabama and Ohio State play just showcases how far head those programs are of the rest of college football (outside of Clemson). It's got me fired up tonight. I am ready for Pruitt to be fire already. Cut the crap. Fire Pruitt and hire someone good for ONCE. I just want one season like this to celebrate.

Dammit I'm all sorts of worked up tonight.

Just makes me sad, knowing that our administration don't share in the fans fire and passion for the Vols. They are perfectly content to throw another season over a cliff to keep Fulmer happy.

This is how they will bring in the All World defensive staff and recruiting guys. I'm hearing as I said before Garner could be coming too.

Enough of the defensive crap. The game has changed. It's all about the offense now. The creativity showcased by Sarkisian tonight completely exposes how bland, boring, and poorly thought out our play-calling was all season. It's like we were playing two different sports!

In this league now, you have to put up big points. Defense is an afterthought with how the game has evolved. It's time to hire someone who understands offense and none of this old school crap. Fulmer is stuck in the past.

Bama is WAY ahead.........but make no mistake.......Ohio State is/was also ahead of everyone “else.”........they just beat Clemson by 21.

This years Bama......just made even them look bad.

Dabo gave them bulletin board motivation for that game. I believe Clemson is the equal of Ohio state. Alabama is way ahead of those two and all the other teams are way behind the top three.

No doubt Clemson is “at least” at the level of Ohio State.......other than “right now” their probably ahead.

Been a longtime board viewer but decided to sign up and start posting. At this point in UT football, I think our best case scenario (outside of taking the Hugh Freeze chance) would be just retaining Pruitt and bringing on highly regarded assistants like Steele and Rodney. We were going in the right direction last year with an 8 game winning streak just by beating the teams we were supposed to beat. Pruitt severely messed up with choosing recruiting over coaching last year. There is definitely something to be said about Pruitt meddling too much or being hard to work for, but how big of an upgrade would Steele and Rodney be over the two guys in the same role last year? If Phil could somehow talk a Doug Marrone into taking a 1-2 year deal and come home to be OL coach? Who knows if that is likely but wow it sounds good on paper. Huge staff upgrades across the board. If a staff with those guys can't walk us into 7-5 or 8-4 with next year's schedule, we just need to switch gears and turn into a UK type of school with basketball leading the ship.

he's still making dat cheddah. that's what this is predicated on. And it shows me that South Carolina & Auburn are shopping at Dollar General while we shop at the flea market.

I'm not a conspiracist. But, I defended the Boyd's et al. This whole witch hunt has been a black eye. The whole Pruitt tenure has been a joke, preceding that was a total cluster. And now hiring Kevin Steele just to let him advise?

It is **** show. That shows no plan, and, no continuity. And honestly the lay fan should take offense. Shows a complete and total lack of gaf from Boyd up. This phony balogna investigation has cost us time & money that could be used elsewhere to effect real change...

Not sure what is so hard to understand about that. If he was going to be fired for poor performance it would have happened weeks ago.
