last years kentucky game is on espnu right now. watching it has really made it sink in just how inept our offense was last year...not a single point on our opening drive all of last year :eek:hmy:

Last year's UT-Vandy game really made it sink in. Never again will Vandy want the game to be wide open with UT wanting a closed-up attack.

I can't believe how incredibly basic and old school our offense was those last two games. We looked like a boring high school offense most of the time. And, yet we won them both.

I don't think Comcast in J'ville has added ESPNU yet. That's fine with me, so long as we get it by the end of the month.

lincoln just missed a field goal...never stood a chance. i know we win but it's still painful to watch.

Ahhhhh, the 2008 season. I turned it on just in time to see Daniel Lincoln miss a 25-yard field goal. Real symbolic of that train wreck of a year.

funny thing is if we had run it all year we win 7-8 games

The first two drives were the 08 season in a nutshell.

First drive:
2 runs for 1 total yard by foster.
1 QB sweet by Crompton for a loss of 3.

Second Drive:
Long drive stalls out at the 20, Lincoln misses easy field goal.

Good news is that it can't be any worse this year.

Jones busted a big run with it at the end of the game. That I believe was the only time its worked as it should

Watching this makes me wonder 1. why did he hire clawson and 2. how are the ppl in bowling green going to put up with his gimmick of an offense

The thing is that offense would probably work in that conference.

I don't believe for one second it was Clawson's offense at this point in the season. And IIRC the g-gun came from Cut
