Right now I'm going with 6-6 as my firm predication, 7-5 if we get lucky break, and 8-4 with an upset of WVU is our ceiling and that only happens if the football gods become Orange & White fans again.

I have been a fan for a long time and have had a lot of ups and downs in that time! But I have not ever stoped believing in my team. We Will ALWAYS be an elite program! Other fan bases could only dream of having the thing we have. And we will be great again. Just never give up the faith! Go Vols!

With all the discussion about Fulmer, he accomplished a lot and like many men, he had his failures. It is worthy of note, as has been stated repeatedly, it is now 2018 and no one has hired him as HC for 10 years.

On another note, the OP seems to be somewhat prophetic. I am wondering if I might get some insights whether to sell my Trojans Maximum condoms stock or hold on to it.

I'm not saying firing Fulmer was a mistake, at least how it was handled.

But this revisionist history/fantasy where keeping Fulmer meant we'd be winning SEC and Nation Championships is hilarious. Fulmer wasn't exactly getting better and chances are he would have maybe lasted a few more seasons top before he was forced out. He wasn't going to be challenging Saban anytime soon.

Media days will have us at 5-7 or 6-6. No one saw Auburn in 2013 and they got lucky. We are TN so we won't get that lucky. I see 3 gray area games. WVU. USCe. FL. 8-4 if go 2/3. Can't see us winning 5 in a row at the end...so we'll need to win our first 4 to go 8-4. Otherwise 7-5. We will be lucky to be 3-4 after Bama game.
