Tennessee is now a BASKETBALL school

as of Sunday morning October 21, 2007. University of Tennessee is known for it's basketball, and track and field.

Until we underachieve against a team that isn't so good and everyone starts wondering what's wrong. We haven't accomplished anything in basketball. How are we a basketball school?

The difference is all of these people on the basketball bandwagon will be super excited over an SEC East Championship this year and a good seed in the NCAA Tournament again. They could go back to the Sweet 16, which is the equivalent of a New Year's Day bowl at best, and everyone will continue to love them up although they wouldn't have accomplished anything.

Basketball school indeed. Maybe we should just always plan on seeing who is higher ranked or better during the year so we can say "wait until basketball season" like the idiot UK fans have always done.

Tennessee will win an SEC Championship and advance past the Sweet 16 in Bruce Pearl's third season. Don't be foolish.

Of course. It's hard to compare the two in my opinion. One is a playoff, the other isn't. haha One has a chance for cinderella's, the other is determined by voters who vote Kentucky 24th in the country after beating LSU and try to say they aren't that good. haha

Prove me wrong. Oh wait, you can't. You're going on what we did last year and what the hype has brought us for this season. That's it. You aren't going on history. You aren't going off of fact.

It would be glorious if we did, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. THAT is foolish.

I'm not getting ahead of myself. I'll bet any sum of money we'll accomplish both of my predictions. Name your price, Foolmerite.
