I keep hearing this argument but I don't see it. Kentucky is ranked and Kentucky won the last time we were in Knoxville.

Also this team was even fired up for UT Martin last Saturday, I just don't see this team over looking Kentucky. I really think that is a lame argument.

The only potential game that I could see Tennessee having a let down maybe that game against Missouri but, it being the last home game, I don't see that one either.

Interesting how many people who hope UT loses including many UK fans are hanging their hopes on UT looking past UK.

It isn't happening. Josh Pate was claiming it on his video that I just watched and used it as his reason to take the under (although he still thinks Tennessee will win).

I think Tennessee comes out on fire. If we have a letdown, it will be after Georgia, perhaps the Vandy game. Even then, I doubt it. This team seems oblivious to outside noise or typical emotional hang ups.

UT has been dialed in all year while continuing to improve every game. I fully expect us to come out swinging just like the last few games. Look what we did against LSU on the road and bama at home. Both of those opponents have better athletes than UK. If we continue to play our game, then we win by double digits.

No way we overlook Kentucky, they had a game plan to win last year and made it the ugliest game I can remember in the process, even though they fell short. Plus they won the year before. Levis deserved or not is getting decent draft projections and UK Is ranked. That’s all in regards to them, we have so much to play for and it’s night dark mode before Halloween. Fans are going to be jacked and I expect it to at times be insanely loud. The only way I see this being close is bad bounces going their way.

I agree. As several beat reporters have discussed, this team has taken on the personality of JH and they're all business. Never get too fired up, never get down on themselves. I'd be really surprised if they they come out playing like they're supposed to just line up and win.

I don’t see that happening. This will be clock in and go to work. Business as usual.

One point that I rarely, if ever, hear pundits address is the fact that there are a lot of upperclassmen on this team who have experienced losing more than they can stomach. Now that they are winning consistently and convincingly, I suspect that they are finding that sensation to be almost addictive and will do whatever they can to sustain that "high."

Watched the replay of Kentucky/Florida. If their oline is not any better, my lord their QB won’t last til halftime. He got absolutely murdered a couple times in that 1st half

Just something about this team…I don’t know what “it” is, but they seem to have it.

Bama game. 49-49. Vols get the ball with 15 seconds left. Wife says “Well, looks like OT.” At this point, I have a BAC you’d need a Cray to calculate. I say…no idea why… ”Nope. We’ve got them idiots right where we want ‘em.”

Should’ve bought a Mega Millions ticket with the two functional brain cells I had left, but I’ll take the win.

Vols cover. 8-0.

Somebody go get the General another cigar.

Kentucky has no realistic chance to make the College Football Playoffs so this is Kentucky’s SEC Chamionship game.
Tennessee won’t overlook Kentucky.

Kentucky fans are going to have to hope for Tennessee losing the turnover battle for Kentucky to have a realistic chance to win, and for Kentucky to win top with long drives.

You are forgetting the most important part- most of this team only knows suck, only knows losing. They are looking forward to each possibility to win.

We as Tennessee fans can overlook Kentucky and look forward to the Georgia game. However, you can be sure that Coach Heupel isn't letting the team overlook Kentucky!

Which is why it’s laughable that Kentucky fans thinks that Tennessee is overlooking Kentucky.

This is nonsensical optimism since this season Tennessee didn’t overlook Ball State, Tennessee Martin, LSU which was before the Alabama game, etc.

LSU was the first game I was concerned about , for obvious reasons , but the team showed up focused and ready to go. I can't imagine it being any different this weekend .
