And I am sorry, but Cutcliffe will not win anything of importance here. I can NOT believe Coach Flanker Screen is the BEST TENNESSEE could do. He can not recruit at an elite level and we will be a perennial 8-4 program at best.

Call me negative, but it is a sad day for the program.

I've said this SAME thing all day long. I can't believe there are some people that can keep a straight face when they say David Cutcliffe will compete for championships here.

That's what we should be about, but I've a feeling were looking at another failed decade.

Its called PUT up or SHUT up...become a fan or BAMA or TX that way you won't have to worry about not having a HIGH PROFILE COACH...This time of the year is CUT THROAT and to much riding on recurits..Get someone frorm the NFL thats due something..Other than that We get whats LEFT OVER...Trying to get a high profile name at this point is not going to happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bad:

right now though, we're about damage control and rebuilding cause we just got punched in the gut on the other side of the ring with about only a minute left in the round

Everybody that has bashed Fulmer should be OUTCRYING right now!! I agree with an earlier post that CPF would be a better rehire for mediocre than Cutcliffe will be. If this is true Hamilton should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!! 7-4 seasons are not acceptable for TENNESSEE FOOTBALL

ah, I will not be happy about the Cut hire either but only because its not sexy and I'm worried about the recruiting, but lets not forget he was running our offense during our only Championship in recent history. He did also script the entire BCS game for Sanders before he left for Ole Miss.

Give it to Kippy. If he does well his first year, offer him an extensive contract...if not, search for someone later. This way we don't get stuck with an even worse situation.

Damage Control? If we hire Cut we will be insignificant for 6/7 years at LEAST. This is TENNE-FREAKING-SEE not Ole Miss or Kentucky.

we're already screwed 3-4 years from what kiffin just did and he did it at the time when there's absolutely no one to hire

this is the best we can get because of when and how badly things played out. You're just going to have to deal with that fact people

This is Fulmer's biggest endorsement. So you know 7-5 will be the best we do AFTER we "rebuild" for two years. FREAKING PATHETIC.

What a joke. We are TENNESSEE. We should NEVER just "deal" with starting a decade of mediocrity like the last one.

Since we are already screwed for 3-4 years, we don't need to make it any worse and hire someone that can't win. We might as well wait until after signing day and then try to snipe a coach from a team.
