Either way, if one or both bolts, UT will right its scholarship.

And if both return?

Then eyes drift toward Martin’s incoming class, notably Landry.

Quinn hinting at Landry.

Being 6'11-7'+ does not automatically make an awesome basketball player. In fact, it can be be a hindrance in some cases.

Landry averaged less than 3 points a game this season. You have to question if he is D1 material even for the lowly SEC. CCM has to be more selective in his schollies and this is one he needs to yank back. Refer this kid somewhere else, no hard feelings, but less than a 3 point average and shooting 7% 3 pointers might not cut it in the JUCO ranks.

He has to be able to be the primary ball handler. If he can dribble and dish, then he can be a successful pg. Most PG do have a very good ft% though. They have to be able to get the ball and close out games. Shooting at about 50% is quite disturbing.

It was Fulford's first crack at using a true point guard and he obviously didn't know what to do with the kid.
His numbers were very respectable at BJ.

We need to stop offering kids and then pulling offers. You have to make sure that they are up to your level. It is just bad business.

I agree it's bad business, but you make it sound as if it is commonplace for Martin to pull kid's offers/scholarships. I see no evidence to suggest it has been done at all, let alone enough times to be considered a habitual problem.

Wes Washpun might have been encouraged to leave, but I've seen nothing to suggest his scholarship was revoked because he couldn't hack it.
