What... we need to see his tape. Is he an animal? Does he bark out commands? Neck, Knees, Ankles... does he have that focus. Did we get to interview him? Who hired him?

Seems decent. Was Spurrier’s S&C coach at South Carolina. Went to Penn State with Bill O’Brien and then to the Texans.

Coach at South Carolina with Spurrier from 2009-2011 (when they won back to back SEC East titles). Went to Penn State in 2012 and left after 2014 to Houston Texans with O'Brien. Also help lead Harvard to back to back Ivy League titles before USC. Pretty impressive.

Well, cant say he isnt experienced in the job. Wish he came from a bigger program tho with success in building monsters. Still, he does have a LOT of experience as training director.

Won't stay too long... he likes to hop around.

I mean....I disagree with this. Spent 2-3 years with Spurrier, O'Brien made him a good offer at Penn State, he went there, and then followed him to the NFL. Doesn't seem like he's hopped any more than any other S & C coach. And God knows we've had our share of them.

Well I do not think this is a hire that puts the entire SEC on notice like it was rumored. I honestly do not know if it is even an upgrade from Rock. It also concerns me with the rash of injuries that the Texans suffered.

Yeah but to be honest still bunch of injuries with rock here as well. Maybe with players getting progressively bigger, stronger, faster just leads to more injuries.

That makes me nervous.

Their team is getting old (for football players) and full of players who have had serious injuries before. I wouldn't breathe anything into it.

Bama had a rash of injuries this year.

What I would look for in a S&C coach is that he lives what he preaches.

Dude looks to be in good condition for an oldtimer.
