Beat a number one and number two seed. Lucky?

Don't think you understand.Gonzaga should not of been 1 seed. The Ohio St win was a good win but Ohio St has not played that good in the tournament.Bruce Pearl was on Bill Kings show and he was talking about how the selection committee got it wrong when a bracket blows up like it did. To make a run like Wichita St it helps if you get put in a favorable bracket.4 of the top 5 seeds didn't get past the 2nd round.3 of them got beat in the 1st round.

Does Wichita St make it this far if Miami would of been the 1 seed. You got to love the luck of the draw.

Miami lost to Marquette in the Sweet 16. You can just as easily say "DOES WICHITA MAKE IT THIS FAR IF THEY PLAY VILLANOVA IN THE FIRST GAME?!?!?!?" The answer is indeterminable.

So? You realize teams sometimes just lose to teams right?

Florida Gulf Coast lost to Lipscomb twice too.

Yea... but FGCU won their conference tournament. Tennessee lost to a similarly pitiful Alabama squad.

----

Tennessee beat some good teams, and lost to some bad teams. In the end, Tennessee's resume was not and still is not impressive enough to make the tournament.

Evansville beat Wichita this year too.

Doubt Wichita cares about what happened in the regular season, and so should Vol fans. It's time to start looking toward next year, and making the tourney.

Wichita St lost to 4 or 5 teams they shouldn't have. I think Evansville, SIU and a couple other scrubs. Beating them in TBA doesn't make us tourney worthy.

Please stop. We did not deserve a bid. Anybody who gets swept by UGly and loses twice to Bama should be in the CIT, not the NIT.

I know you don't know this, but Alabama was a pretty good team this year. Losing to them isn't exactly a disgracing event.
