I’m sorry I have a typing lisps (see there it is )issue that I’m currently trying to correct. Itss hard work, but I’ll fix it.

:) Great response!!! I hate to say anything about how people talk and write. Many times I couldn't say sh-t with my mouth packed full and could never spell sh-t period. If it weren't for this smartas- computer I would have no way to say anything on this site. But the use of the "S" on the end of anyway is like scraping ones fingernails down a chockboard....

We all have our things. I get particularly irked when someone uses your/you’re incorrectly, especially when someone is insulting your intelligence.

I don’t think it’s announced yet. Also a possibility of ESPN
Well when we beat Missouri and Georgia wins their game they will want us prime time. Which will be the CBS 3:30 game.....

But thanks I had thought they already said CBS my bad.

I get it...but this song DOES get my juices flowing after all these years...

There is no greater sports theme song than the CBS College football intro. Nobody @ me about the NBA on NBC either .

If we beat Missouri then we will be on CBS. This delay is to see if we screw up.

I agree, Tennessee Georgia is more of a rivalry anyway. If we come out against Missouri and improve some and win like we should, I’d be surprised if we weren’t on CBS.

It's probably a bit more of a combination of "will Texas A&M still be ranked highly after Alabama" with what Florida's and Georgia's rankings will look like after their games against South Carolina and Auburn, respectively.

Gary will mispronounce player's names 50 times and talk about Bama all game. We know the drill.

If at least one team on the field is a disappointment then it leaves a lot of time to think about what you want for dinner. Consider UT's previous 10 years of let downs.

My little brother is getting married at 6:30 that day. A noon game will work just fine for me. But if it’s 3:30, I’ll just watch the end of the game on my phone at the wedding. It’s a beach wedding, so it’ll be casual anyway!
Can’t believe people get married during football season. If it only messed up one game I guess I could understand...maybe. You got to think about all them anniversaries.

A normal year, the time would already be set -- whats taking so long to make a decision ?

If I remember correctly, CBS gets to do this once a year. They get to hold off on picking a game until the Monday before.

Could be wrong but I’m under that impression

to early in the season to be doing that UT vs Georgia should be the pick -- A&M was sluggish vs Vandy

I feel the same way about anywayS. Irritating.

BTW, it’s chalkboard not chockboard.😄😎
Anyhoo...probably spending too much time on this subject. Let’s get back to talking about the Vols.

Some girls do it I think to try to prove to their friends that they have their fiance by the balls. Obviously true keepers would never insist on such.

In a normal year they have between 2 and 3 exceptions as you mention. Not sure how many exceptions this year. I did read thar CBS had to fix more games up front. So in summary we are are not getting robbed by CBS, yet.

Don’t like CBS either.
Don’t want to watch their bias commentators talking about how great Georgia is or Kirby Smart is the world’s greatest coach or some other bs that they do.
The last Florida game I watched and them talking up Florida all game long was the last time I watched a game on CBS

One thing I've noticed about Gary Danielson in recent years is that he only prepares thoroughly for the team he thinks is going to win.

I mean, as the color commentator, he's the guy expected to bring the nice detail work on the players, like knowing their stats and back history and accomplishments to date, and even some personal stuff like if they have a mom or dad who was a famous athlete, or particularly inspirational or whatever.

And Danielson can rattle all that off, quickly and with impressive recall...for one of the two teams. For the other team, he's just kind of half-mailing it in. He knows some, but not nearly as much.

Maybe that has been true his entire career, and I never noticed it when the Vols were usually favored. But over this Decade of Darkness of ours, it has become painfully obvious to me that Danielson skimps on half the ticket.

Since I noticed it about him, I've observed the same in a few other color commentary guys over on ESPN/SEC-N. But it was most obvious with him first.
