UGA held a team that scored 38 on us to a single trash td in the 4th quarter. I don't like our odds friend.

It expect it to go like the other games against good teams with depth. Tennessee hangs around for a while then fades. Unless they turn the ball over in which case it will be a bloodbath. Not going to run much against them so depth will become a factor again.

They average 37.9 points per game. We average 37.4. Their offense isn't as good as their defense true, but their defense has allowed 46 freaking points total in 8 games.

We don't have the depth to compete this year. uga may just back its way to the promised land in a down year for Bama, Clemson, OSU, etc.

Just like the program, it will be a trash NC.

We've got a tough game this weekend. Let's concentrate on that rather than spewing deluded optimism about the Georgia game. The fact is that we've only beat some bad teams to this point. We've played tough and competitively with a couple of good teams, but lacked the talent and depth to close on them. Heupel is doing a great job thus far having this team motivated and playing hard. We must go out and hit on all cylinders for 4 quarters to beat UK in Lexington this weekend. That's our task at hand

I was on the same plane flying into Knoxville as Gary Danielson back in 2015. He was still sharing the booth with the affable Verne Lindquist at that time. Few, if any folks recognized him, but I struck up a conversation with him walking to baggage claim. He was very approachable, respectful, and while the Dogs were the favorite, he hoped for a very competitive game. He wasn't dismissive of the Vols, and that game was Josh Dobbs finest hour...er, 3 hours!

I actually turn volume down then pause Directv to sync Vol audio for about 45 seconds. Usually wait to for a shotgun snap to then hit play when Vol Network mentions snap. Not the greatest but much better than loons on ESPN and Gary’s inane myopic droning Georgia ball washing sophistry

Haha one time some friends and I spent an inordinate amount of time aligning sound from Vol Network for a basketball game to the TV feed.

Gary is absolutely intolerable and has a clear bias against Tennessee. I’ve watched games with non UT fans who said the same. Screw that guy.

Never done this but love the idea. Is the Vol Network broadcast available on a website or are you tuning into a radio station?

They choose games each week for 2 reasons:

1) It's 2 good teams that will show how strong and elite the SEC team or teams are

2) They pick 2 teams that they know will be an ass kicking to show how powerful the good team is, even against SEC competition.


The VOLS are not on this week because of reason #1.

My point is, it’s my opinion that the time a game is played is irrelevant. That’s all. Others feel differently. That’s why I asked the question.
