tennessee gear question

hey guys im heading up to knox soon for a trip and i was wondering if you all had any advice for buying tenn gear up there thats not cheap like walmart but not a wallet burner like the book store...at most of the shoe stores down here you can get good college gear thats not cheap but i cant find UT gear down in gator/cane country

I live in Knoxville, and from my experience the number one place to find the best Vol gear is the area thrift stores (Goodwill, etc). They're obviously the cheapest places to go and you can always find some great old school gear. But if you'd rather find some brand new stuff then hit up the local sporting goods stores like Dick's and you'll find new stuff that's not as expensive as the bookstore.

Alumni Hall is cheaper than the bookstore on most things, but still kind of exepsnive. They do have some sales every so often however that make it worth it.

thats because UT choose sucky Adidas --- worst selection of gear around and the replica stuff falls apart after its washed a few times - IDK why the UT marketing people dont demand better from Adidas :whatever:

I have never had any issue with the quality of Adidas gear, if anything it seems to be superior to the Nike and other UT gear.

Try JC Penny, they tend to have sales on Adidas UT gear often.

Yeah Alumni Hall has the best and most unique selection. Or if you wear XL, just call Matt Milton. He might give you a big discount on UT gear.

Would rather have the tackle twill sewn on numbers and logos not screen printed - adidas doesnt have that - nike does

Since we are on the topic of gear, anyone know where they sell the gray fleece pullover that dooley wears during most games?

I would kill for a decent looking ball cap. I've never liked any of UT's caps. Well, hardly ever.
