Right is right. I have had my problems with Tennessee in the past but Tennessee is a storied SEC program and I am tired of the bull****. What I typed is exactly what I think happened.
They all went outside and the owners called the police and told them their buddy was about to get his ass whipped.
The cop was no different than the players other than he and his friends were cops instead of football players. You know for a fact that when the cops got there they immediately sided with their cop friend because that is what cops do. The players helped their friends and the cops helped their friends. It just happened to be that one set of friends had badges ad the others didn't.
This is bull**** in my opinion and I really want to see coach Dooley do well and he doesn't need this ****. The cops in Knoxville and around campus should take some responsibility for their football team and look out for these guys so they don't get into trouble.
Young men that are football stars are going to drink beer and they are going to chase pussy and personally I think that is normal.
Coach Bryant use to say, "you take the milk drinking moma's boys and give me the whiskey drinking women chasers and I will beat you with them every time."
It seems like everytime we have something positive going on, all the sudden sh1t like this happens. It's embarrassing and I'm fed up with it.
How far do yall think this set's us back now? just asking for opinion's
debusk just said on nash radio that charges against DR are still out there and have not been dropped
None...Y'all are Tennessee for god's sake!
Remember when Jimmy Johns got arrested during Saban's first year for selling cocaine in the athletic building parking lot?
Changing a program requires changing the culture of the program and that is what Coach dooley is going to do for Tennessee. Dooley is a class act and he has lived his entire life around college football and successful coaches and football programs. He will right the ship.
It will take a couple of years for him to get everything headied in the right direction. Kids are going to come to Tennessee to play football just because it is Tennessee.
Y'all will probably go 6-6 this year but be in every game just like w were in Sabans first year. Next year you will see the imporvement.
I'm still not convinced these guys did anything wrong but that is just my opinion.
I think all the charges will be dropped when that cop gets out of the hospital. He knows he wasn't innocent in this thing and I would assume that he wants this to go away himself.
He has already said through his brother that he was pushed and hit his head on the sidewalk so his story is already changing.
I would be will ing to bet that he was drunk just like everybody else.
