Tennessee football players involved in brawl

yeah. one guy on here said he was at Bar Knoxville last night and said it was the cop who took the first swing. That might be a mitigating circumstance, but it still doesn't absolve anyone for his fractured skull and stay in the hospital

Actually, it does. If the cop started the fight and that can be proved, it changes everything.

Not saying all, but there are a lot of cops who are thugs with badges.

There are good cops. There are bully cops. There are cops who observe the laws they are sworn to uphold, then there are those who abuse their power to break them.

Point is, noone knows who started what, unless you were there. The police, if at fault, will do whatever they can to make themselves out to be the good guys.

Good cops hate bad cops. We dont cover for each other like most of you want to think.

A bad cop gives us all a black eye. Hell, its hard enough to get any respect without dumbasses doing stupid crap.

Saying all cops are bad is just as bad as saying all kids in the hood are thugs. No different.

Maybe, you can get al sharpton or jesse jackson down there and blame the police

I've witnessed plenty. That is why I am a fairly confident in my opinion of the things that happened here. Liquid courage flowing combined with safety in numbers.

liquid courage leads to bad decisions. like starting fights with a bunch of really big UT football players.

WTF and Myles was "hiding under a white BMW," then took off running when KPD ordered him to come out.

Not saying all cops are bad. Just saying they aren't all angels, either. What's a off duty cop doing at a bar at 2am, anyway?

If his brother is saying that he hit his head on the sidewalk after being pushed then this sounds like no big deal.

Sounds to me like the cop doesn't want to make a very big deal of this which tells me that he may be at fault just as much as anybody else and he knows it.

This may not be a big deal at all.

Falling and hitting his head on the sidewalk after being pushed is a far cry from being curb stomped by 10 football players.

yeah, I'd like to know all the facts. i have a feeling the cop was more involved outside of just trying to break up a fight if he is unconscience laying in the street with a fractured skull.

i've seen off-duty police drunk and beligerent before. (and talking about how they like to screw over spoiled college kids)
