My point exactly. The kid might have been trying to do the right thing, but I hope UT checks this out thoroughly and the truth comes out. I think its strange he was an off duty cop just out trying to do his duty at 2am. in the morning.

It is always great to be a Tennessee Vol. I will not let anything change that. Dooley will come back and deal with it appropriately. Those that deserve to go will be gone. This too shall soon pass

Our players get into a brawl in a bar that happens to involve an off-duty officer... and we focus on the fact that the officer was at the bar?

Are you kidding?

What about the part that our players -- some underage -- were at a bar and got into a brawl? The players put themselves in the situation. The issue revolves there. Get some focus...

Who says anything about "looking for trouble"? Cops are individuals too, as long as they are responsible for their actions when they are out in public, there is nothing wrong with having beers with friends at the local bar.

Unfortunately it doesn't surprise me... Some of these players get the bullseye on their back and others bring it on themselves. I was out at a bar about a month ago where one of the football players grabbed some girl's ass that was out with a guy form my highschool. He flipped out ( as he should have) and soon enough there were about 4 players ready fight. GJones being the most vocal of the group. Seems to me that Mr. Lott has his work cut out for him.

There are plenty of bars in and around Knoxville...he had to choose the "college kid" bar to go and drink? It just doesn't really add up to me.

Darren Myles, Jr. has been charged with assaulting a UTPD officer, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Sadly, we will never know if things would have been better. Kiffin, the man to whom you and SGM and JustinGroves frequently experience erections over, decided to leave all you little followers at the altar and head to USC.
