No. If the players accept special priveldges based on their status as a student athlete, then it is a violation. Regardless who is affiliated with the establishment
actually I think that UT could have an issue here. IF, and we should have if we don't, we knew the practice was taking place than we had to stop it. Stop players from going there is how we control it.
This type thing would have to be known by our compliance people or tehy are not doing their jobs. If they know and allow, its an institutional control thing.
Our complaince staff called a friend of mine for giving a players Mom a ride from the campus to the hospital where the player was after surgery. If they hear about that sort of incident, they realize this VIP thing is happening.
