Tennessee football players involved in brawl

HH just said on the sports animal that one of the names they are trying to confirm will cause "serious angst" if it turns out to be true. She must be talking about Janzen Jackson.:banghead2:

Welcome to the f'ed up world of Tennessee football Coach Dooley...Man this stuff never ceases to amaze me.

You are obviously a person who has never been in a fight.

7 or 10 on 1? Every single one of those pieces of excrement involved is a coward.

Anyone who stomps on an person who is knocked out also should be curbed.

I have seen a fraternity group do this on the strip and I intervened on the side of the guy getting ganged up on.

Only complete cowardly neutered losers attack 1 guy as a group.

If your buddy has a problem with someone and asks you to get his back, it is so that if more than 1 person intervenes against him, you take them out. It is not so you can go jump someone with him.

If you are the loser who has gotten a kick in on someone who is on the ground after he is knocked out, I hope you break both legs in a stair fall that knocks out your teeth.

:eek:k::eek:k:

Wasn't Myles apparently there? Isn't he the only one that has been in trouble recently under Dooley? He needs to stay out of the bars because he obviously can't control himself. This will be his second time in trouble in 3 months. He might be gone.

doubt if there will be much angst. he has been on seriously thin ice since last fall. the ice continues to get thinner...

Its just not our program, it happens everywhere. Its society not raising their kids to respect others and letting them do as they please, without any barriers or rules.
If you dont, you wind up with kids that cant being out on their own and conduct themselves like adults. T
Then they have kids and the cycle continues.

It just seems like the only other place I hear about this stuf happening REPEATEDLY is Athens, Ga...... It's like these numbskulls sit around and thinking: "Man.... what can I do today that will have the entire nation laughing at Tennessee?"......

Bar Knoxville is the trashiest place on the strip. That place needs to be shut down.

Bout how I feel right now...

just a general comment.

UT could make the Cumberland strip off limits. that would help keep players out of trouble, maybe. that would also kill recruiting, for sure.

if recruits are impressed with the strip, then today's 18-22 year-olds have no idea what they've missed out on in years past

So apparently DaRick was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. That's not so bad. I'd be surprised if he were dismissed from the team

I think its time for a curfew!! These kids are out of the site of their parents and thinking they can do what they want. Nothing ever good comes out of a group of kids at 2 or 3 in the morning at a bar!!! There will be examples made out of some of these kids so and rightly so. You knew sooner or later they were going to challenge CDD. One other thing, why isn't this night club shut down for serving under aged kids? This is a sad day for ut football. If I am not mistaken, one or two of these kids have gotten a second chance to stay on the team. If that is so, I don't care how talented they are. they need to go!!! Put a curfew on these kids under 21 until they can show that they know how to act in public. I'm so disappointed in Rodgers! Sorry guys I'm just pissed!!!

The facts are:
Myles has been arrested by UT Police, Da'Rick by KPD. Denarius Moore detained for questioning. Myles' charge is not known. Rogers charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. There are 3 additional players who were detained. Montori Hughes is one of the 3, however it is not known whether he was charged or detained for questioning. The identity of the other 2 players is not known at this time.

its not the impression of the strip. it is the fact things are made off limits. recruits visiting and only staying on campus, not likely to win them over..

Where are you getting this?

too bad the lebron story doesnt brake today.
what the hell nash nance why do you think you are here, supposed to keep DR out of trouble.

When it's all said and done, if the charges end up no more serious than disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, I hope CDD keeps em all on the roster so he can run them nearly to death. Maybe it will make an example internally to keep the rest of the current roster in check without having to cut needed depth (and if Hughes is charged, certainly a valuable starter).
