Tennessee Football is DEAD.

The Monty Python scene comes to mind ... "Bring out yer dead..."

I'll still be at the UA game. Still cheering for them. But out with the coaching staff...

I've bled orange from age 8 listening to Johnny Ward and trips to Knoxville (43 now). We suck this season and nothing's going to change that. I'm still wearing my UT hat. Hopefully our football program will earn back that loyality from the fans soon. Ain't gonna be this season. Screw Hamilton and Fatboy and anyone else who continues to allow our once proud football program to fall to the depths we have now.

I don't want basketball. Screw basketball. I want my football team back. The men's basketball team could win 10 NCAA championships in a row and it would never envoke the same feelings I feel towards football. This sucks.

On a radio show up here in Chi. Dan Hampton said that Fulmer is the "worst coach in college football" He then said: "but he's a great recruiter for some reason".

Good point on the "we need a Saban, Meyer, or even Les Miles" line. Fulmer is fat old ball coach who lives in the past. Vols need a young, vibrant, smart coach.

Tenn. has the money. #1 in money spent on recruting budget. They CAN afford this kind of coach. Until Vols do this, you will see continued drubbings by Fla. and Bama. Vols are getting outcoached.

Why if the Vols spend the most money on recruiting in the NATION do they have embarrassing, lopsided losses?

Fulmer talks about having no leaders? Isn't HE the one that recuits them? Why doesn't he recruit the leaders he complains about not having?

Tenn. needs to get out of the dark ages like Fla. and Bama have. They are both going to continue to thump Tenn. until a change is made.

This program has turned into the laughingstock of the SEC. So much money, so stupidly wasted. Who do you think spends more money on their football program Fla. or Tenn.? The answer is Tenn. Then WHY do the Vols get humiliated at home to them???

Think about it. This isn't a division 2 a team. Why do they play like one??? ANser FULMER!!!!!!!!

Hey dic$head I'm not even a Cubs fan you duba$$.

I was born and raised in Clarksville Tn. My family moved here when I was a teenager. I've always been a Vol fan. What do you dispute about what I said?

I'm saying the Vols need a new coach, just like a great percentage of others ESPECIALLY in Knoxville. Do you dispute that? Or is it easier to throw out insults that have no meaning? I happen to be Whie Sox fan, and if you remember they won the World Series in '05. So bite me cable guy.

I am a die hard Cubs fan (redundant I know). 25 years of agony and we won the division again. whoopie. Let's see if we can get out of the first round (D'back last season) or, God forbid, to the Series ('03, '98, ad nauseum). Then I can die happy. God knows, TN isn't going to the SEC Champ game or national championship anytime soon.....................

Folks....it's going to be a long year in Football. We just don't have the QB to win big games this year. Yep...I'm starting to look forward to the roundball.

I think Scotty Hopson is going to make us forget about Chris Lofton. I think Negudu will fit perfectly into the BP system. Tyler Smith and Price should have more scoring oppurtinities

Is it just me or do the guys out on the field look like they really don't care what happens. There is no fire in these guys! The Vols I used to know gave there all for Tennessee everyday. We just don't see that anymore. It seems like the players reactions to a turnover are the same as a touchdown..... that reaction being a shrug of the shoulders and saying, "oh well".

We are watching the biggest group of underachievers that have ever played for tennessee.

I guess attitude reflects leadership.

Am I the only one that thinks this?
