Tennessee football: 2022 way-too-early game-by-game predictions

I could see some regression particularly if they allow teams to stall the offense with “injuries”.

I agree with the predictions, we may drop a game against Missouri, Kentucky, or South Carolina, but may pick up a win against LSU. 8-4, 9-3 is definitely on the table.

Pittsburgh and Florida will set an early tone for the season.
Pitt's got Kedon Slovis. That'll be a dogfight again.

LSU is a wild card.
Florida, Alabama and Georgia will be judgement games.

I like our shot at the playoffs.

Bama is on the verge of going back to the cellar. Why not start that trend this fall.

Georgia is still partying like it’s 1980.They will drop off.

Florida is one more bad season of being another Mizzou.

I feeling good about 22.

It is impossible to predict the W/L record.
Nobody knows who will come and who will go until after spring practice.
Considering we now have a coaching staff that is no longer sub-standard, one could assume the Vols play to the level of roster talent, upper bottom tier in the SEC.
The ball is pointy on both ends, it sometimes bounces the right way.
Play the games, let the talking heads make the predictions.

It's hard to say at this point whether we will be any good. In the new college football, all the teams mentioned may have totally different rosters by June, with everyone transferring wherever they feel like.

I love the predictions with zero explanation. I’m personally predicting WWWLWWLWLWWWWWLWWWWWWLW. Wait, how many is that? Just roll the extras over to 2023.
