Just gives up 1 game on the schedule. Isn’t unusual for teams not to play a full 31 game schedule. 2 games is better than none

Oh, I just meant a three-team tournament in general. I don't think I've seen such a thing. Not that I'm against it...

Not really a “tournament” per se as much as it is just a bubble for teams to get multiple games in...not like there will be a trophy or all tourney team

Plenty of exempt games aren’t true tournaments. Not unusual, but typically the round robin between 4 teams allows them to get the max number of exempt games allowed

They have the Maui Asheville invitational immediately afterwards. Again not sure if they would go to Knoxville anyway. Most home site MTE’s for major conference programs involve mid to low majors

Very good competition and with the 22 positive cases of Covid-19 on the Wisconsin football squad, it is a good thing that the opener was cancelled.

Perhaps Tennessee can play at Wisconsin next season.
