We've been over this several times before on the forum. Vegas doesn't set odds to predict score spreads or winners, vegas sets odds that they believe will bring in even money.

Vegas brings in even money by setting the point spread right at public expectations. Again, everybody knows this. To imply that setting a point spread right dab in the middle of public perception of how a game will play out is a completely seperate exercise from simply objectively analyzing how the game will play out is...well...incorrect.
