The Tennessee baseball team managed just four hits off of LSU starting pitcher Kevin Gausman as he fired a complete-game shutout to lead the Tigers to a 9-0, series-opening victory on Friday night at Alex Box Stadium.

I'm sure TR will be able to turn it around next year. But, if it doesn't happen next year, he'll definitely turn it around the year after next.

this series, especially if the tigers sweep, will officially certify the 2011 baseball vols as one of, if not the crummiest athletic teams to ever wear the orange. i'd almost be for dropping the sport if this goes on much longer.

Who didnt know this wasnt going to happen ? Just another day closer until TR gets fired.But with MH,TR might get a raise out of this.

According to rexvol per the other site TR will recieve a 5 year extension for his efforts this season and will get a 100k a year raise

:lolabove: He will probably say this is not how big of a gap there is between the teams, rather we just played our worst game and they played their A game! I don't think there is any more trap games is there Todd?

Who is a worse coach than TR in the history of UT sports? I dare anyone to come up with just one name who rivals this a$$ clown.

My opinion is UT has had ONE decent baseball coach in the
last 50+ years. Rod Delmonico. Wright was average, Whited and Connor pathetic. Thank Mike Hamilton for the current state of the program. The talent level is substandard for a SEC team.

ReTodd is the worst in Tennessee (as in the state, all sports, pro, college, highschool, middle school, pee wee, and women's) history.

I present to you, a comment that borders along that after the Vandy series.

"We have to come out harder tomorrow. Last week, (LSU) won the Friday night game by a similar score at Alabama and were shut out the next two games. The score of the game doesn't really factor in.

raleigh is indeed a disaster, but i tire of hearing delmonico's name being brought up as a 'good' coach.
