The reference is to BAIN.....I believe.

Why respond to my post then? A couple posters were asking why Tuttle was left off the list....I clarified that it's because the guy listed "healthy scholarship players".

I'm anxious to see what he does on the field in a game situation. The talent is there - will the calls and execution of the calls be there?

Yes I know his background - but he hasn't yet called a game at UT.

Jancek did at UT what he's done at every other DC job he's had. I was very disappointed to see Jones bring him to UT.
The defense will be a monster now.

The defense SHOULD be a monster. We will find out whether it will be in around 2 months.

The defense would have been a monster last season. Bad coaching kept them from achieving. With all the play makers back and a solid DC I'm absolutely confident in our defense.

Didn't mean to give it a like, meant to quote it.

As painful as that play was for us ... I thought it was more a lack of execution, than the call or defensive set-up.

It was both. Awful play call (as prevent defense always is in a non-blowout), and also poor execution. Perhaps the players got confused because they knew full well this was not what they should be doing, so they were stuck between some executing as ordered, and some trying to do the right thing. Result: SNAFU.

I can't disagree with that. :hi:

Kongo I have a feeling will be effective on the outside and also will give us valuable reps on the inside as well. We are loaded at DE. GBO!!!! We're gonna wreak havoc!!!!

No lie. It was just bizarre to even think of spying on 4th and long and basically defending the biggest play of the game with 10 guys.

Guess when you have a Dobbs on your team, you think of stuff like that? Glad he's gone, though

Im glad we have him. I think hes our backup DT. I think that is his future, and out of necessity we need him to contribute there.
