If there are any betters in the house I recommend reviewing the 3 sites above when making bets! I'm 5-0 for the day after studying the #'s

1 weekend is easy but let's see season numbers before buying into your method

The Sagarin system is probably more accurate, but the NCAA only uses the RPI to determine seeding.

I agree...I just hope I can stay hot!! Last year it worked throughout the season and in March!! I'm hoping for the same this year!! :dance2:

Yeah, probably, but we have actually opened up a little breathing room at #1, so our score may go down without us falling from #1. But, we're about to begin a string of low-RPI opponents, so our ranking can't last too much longer.

Geeze, that's pretty bad. So are all of our tough (on paper or RPI or SOS) games behind us already?

There is of course still Memphis and Vandy.

Real-Time RPI shorted us a win. We are 16-1, nad they have us listed at 15-1. (I believe they left out the Ark-Montecello win on 11/14/2007 game).

Memphis could very well be #1 when we play them, Vandy will likely be ranked when we play them again, and Florida probably will be ranked when we play at least one of the games against them.

I don't see any other opponent breaking the top-25 when we play them - at Miss St. will be very tough, but they won't be ranked in 2 weeks.

How can a non RPI Poll be closer to an RPI ranking than a RPI poll???? Evidently you are wrong.

he said closer to accurate, not closer to the RPI. Accurate meaning better reflects reality, hence the RPI reflects reality, in emain's opinion, less well.

For my money, had the coaches not lost their minds and put Duke at 3, it would be the most reflective of the teams' capabilities.
