Those are all really low, but hey if the shoe fits.

I am really surprised at Wilcox's salary after looking at Chaney's.

And Russell better be one heck of a Special Teams coach to pull 200,000

This should be one of the lowest paid coaching staff in the SEC... especially since most SEC D. Coordinators got a raise because of UT's coaching search.

And a 6 year deal for Dooley - that's interesting.

That is what I was thinking. Six years?

Go get them Coach Dooley.

What I found very interesting is that it appears that CLT and CJC got brand new contracts! If I'm right they started out on 3 year contracts. If this is what they have left then they signed new contracts and that makes me very :) !

Not to be a downer, but OrangeVol, have you seen the schedule?

7 wins would be very impressive.

I agree that 7 wins would be a good start- 9 would be great and everyone deserve raises. 8 regular season and 1 bowl win. If we have 7 wins no one will get extensions!

Are you serious? In my opinion, given our schedule, anything more than 5 wins will constitute an overwhelming success for DD's first campaign as coach.

Seems about right to me. If we do better than expected, CDD will be bumped up, make no mistake. 2010 will be tough IMO.

If we have less than 7 wins does everyone also get a pay cut? Offering pay increases based on the results of one season is what put ND in the position they were with Charlie Weiss. Unless it is an issue of retention, and the coach is obviously worth it, I'm not a big fan of increasing pay beyond what the contractual agreement calls for. After 2-3 years, once the coaches have had the opportunity to truly demonstrate their value, would be a different issue.

If I ever went into a season expecting 5 wins I would chew on a gun barrell.
I know it will be a tough season! I will always expect more!

Then considering our schedule, obvious talent shortcomings and depth issues, you're simply setting yourself up for a disappointing fall. Peyton Manning and Al Wilson aren't walking through that door. Hell, as of right now, Jonathan Crompton isn't even walking through that door.
