It's quite simple. Law doesn't believe all the blather he spews here. He does it to rile people up and be included in the day's activities. I know because I've actually heard him sound semi-intelligent in the past.:)

The coach had nothing to do with this. It was all the principal. The principal of a school should have no interest or bearing in what school an athlete plays for. He/she should just be happy that they are getting a scholarship to a university, especially from a low income area like Pahokee.

I wonder what Nukeese is thinking/saying about all this mess? :unsure:....and also the recuits that Gran was trying to talk to? I would be mad if I were one of them even if I had no interest in UT. It should have been up to them to talk to Coach Gran or not.

I don't think there's merit to "interference" because the coach is the responsible party there along with Nuke's uncle/guardian. I know him personally, and he wouldn't let an administrator take advantage of his nephew.

This is what pissed those folks off, though, since CLK got into the young man's head and told him to lie to his coach and others including family. You know? Had him running around to the middle school around the corner to fax the LOI. There wasn't a need for all that secrecy.

Urban Meyer makes fun of Chuckey-Doak (can't imagine what for). Urban then sends his recruiters to that nationally known hot bed of Tennessee football talent. The principal asks them to get a permission slip before entering the school. The Tennessee legislature names a state holiday after George Frye, Chuckey-Doak's beloved principal, for taking such a courageous stand against the hated Gators. Afton renames itself Fryeville after you know who. Male and female babies all over the state are named George and Georgianna (male and female respectively) after St. George Frye, the only human to be canonized prior to death by the Catholic diocese of Knoxville. And finally, in the ultimate tribute, Neyland Stadium is renamed Chuckey-Doak Stadium.

What's amazing is, this principal is willing to put his player's future on the line because he's too proud of the college he attended to get his bachelor's. He has allegiances to UF, he knows it, the coach knows it, the community knows it, so why doesn't he just get over it?? Apparently, Gran is going to try and get this thing behind them and going to talk to City Officials today according to Brent Hubbs.
