dude should stick to worrying about the students' education.

You're so ignorant. Screwing with rival football recruiters should always take precedence over these kids' stupid ol' edumacation. I mean, honestly, mathemecating and reedin' is for chumps who don't run a 4.40 forty. All the other kids that don't play football should just give up and go work at Cracker Barrell. Nuf said.

Sad...Very sad that a school would do that...The funny thing would be to pull a bunch from them and not even step foot in the stupid school...Wonder if the kids thinking about coming to Knox Vegas have said anything?

This sounds like a possible discrimination issue. If other coaches were let in and Tennessee coaches were denied access without due cause then the principal could be look at some disciplinary action from the State. I hope he has good reason for his actions.

I feel that the players and coach of Pahokee should be upset. I dont think it is right for a principal to limit a student athlete's opportunities for a statement that wasn't even directed towards him specifically. The parents of these kids should be upset as well.

While they may have been lost amidst his other remarks (i.e. Florida cheated, the faxes mysteriously disappear from down there, etc.), didn't CLK or another coach further expound on the Pahokee HS situation?

It seems like I recall someon saying something more about their previous (difficult) experiences at Pahokee HS - something about being locked out of the school, to be lied to about the whereabouts of a recruit, etc?

I could be mistaken, but I recall that the comments were intended to say that recruiters having "problems" at that HS was commonplace.

If so, I don't see where this latest "lock-out" is anything other than a continuation of these acts.

I hope he doesn't have reason for his actions. I'd like to see him get disciplined. Maybe they could break out the old wooden paddle on him.

i bet the fan demographics of florida go as:

florida highest
FSU and Miami close second depending on who is doing better. they'll be number 1 when they get back to the BCS.
then a bunch of fans from the north.
ND
Mich
OSU
then a bunch of other schools.
Bama
Ole Miss
Auburn
UGA
then tennessee

UGA is much higher, especially the farther north you go in the state.

there is no reason to start that. This is for the coaches and UT admin to handle not a bunch of fans

I agree, no sense adding fuel to the fire, It's none of our business....Let the coaches and staff handle the situation.

We need to advise all Tennessee fans in the area to show up at the HS functions wearing lots of orange.:peace2:

I was already planning on it :). Although I am told Pahokee is seriously ghetto so hopefully my car -that sports a reflective power T- won't be up on blocks upon my return. It really is shocking though how much their infatuation with CUM and the gators can influence the decisions of even the highest of authority at this school. Does education actually play a part here or is it more "na na nana booboo"? Principal needs to grow up.

Having taught for 36 years, I know this sort of guy: no clue about what his JOB entails as an administrator. My guess is he's not only a rabid gay-tor fan, but is the speech-writer for Rep. Corrine Brown. (If you've not seen that video, don't miss it!)

Facts: Educators are in the business of education. It is imperative for educators to provide ample opportunities for students to pursue higher education.

Higher education is crucial for our country to thrive in a global economy.

Historically, Black Americans have been subjected to obstacles when pursuing higher education.

The historical subtle obstruction of equal opportunities for an education was a root cause lending to the Supreme Court decision in Regents of University of California v. Bakke, (1978) [836].

The University of Tennessee is an accredited and highly regarded institution of higher education in the realm of public schools in the United States.

THE PRINCIPAL OF THIS HIGH SCHOOL HAS IMPEDED POSSIBLE FULL SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENT(S) UNDER HIS SUPERVISION TO AN INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION BECAUSE HE DOES NOT LIKE THAT UNIVERSITY AND/OR IT’S FOOTBALL COACHING STAFF.

Opinion:
Possible 1st and 14th amendment violations to the Constitution of the United States with regards to the behavior of the public school official, as well as negative commerce clause implications. This official’s income is based upon tax dollars and likely subsidized with some federal government money.

This educator has an agenda and does not have his student’s best interest at heart IF he permits other schools to speak with his students and or coaches but arbitrarily prevents the University of Tennessee from doing the same.

By the way, just because the State of Florida is 90 miles from Cuba, it doesn't mean they have to act like Cuba.

Yeah he had a reason! Didn't want Urbie Cryer to take away his suite tickets in that stinkhole they call the swamp. Kiffin's comments were true about that slimey place, too bad they have so many great athletes, but the kids don't seem to mind. I say we get at least two from there this year and more in the future, despite those turd fans running that place!

Hey principle :finger3:

I wonder if Pahokee High's version of Mr. Woodman realizes he just confirmed everything Kiffin said about him and his area?

You can alienate all the backwoods and rural neanderthal areas you guys want to. No objection from us Gator fans.

And if it means you don't have a shot at the top recruits, well by golly that's okay because your coach was right when he insulted them to begin with.

Excellent philosophy.
