The Vols will play, along with the rest of the SEC. Anyone else that want's to join if the rest of the conferences chicken out are more than welcome to.

I have a feeling that with the SEC determined to play, and other individual teams determined to play that this will force the other conferences to play anyways.

They better or they’ll potentially become the Medium 8. Iowa and Nebraska are determined to play and I think Ohio State won’t risk losing players.

Football will happen. It is a money play. And the fewer games there are the more leverage the SEC has to make their games worth more. Can you imagine the viewership numbers I'd the sec was the only ones playing? The recruiting impact? All eyes would be on us. It's a showcase nationwide that we wouldnt otherwise get. It's a nice opportunity.

I think you would have alot of guys coming to the SEC instead of schools out west.

Mostly a photo op for the Chancellor I would guess.

Looks good supporting the athletes. If someone above her cancels the season, not her fault.
Being an officer in an alumni chapter, I've participated in a number of calls and meetings with Chancellor Plowman. She is not anything like the previous Chancellors I've interacted with. She is much more grounded and willing to consider other viewpoints.

Good the hear. The leadership bar has been pretty low at UT for awhile.
