Tennessee brimming with Talent

Evidently the majority of the voters in Nashville vote Dem, what just happened with the mayor? "The best place to live in TN"???? Tennessee is blessed with a large number of Great places to live-Nashville does not represent all of Tennessee.

Its not about the mayor or the DEMS...The transformation of the greater metro/Nashville area the past 20 years has been remarkable

It is a very nice place to live. Both my parents came from the Mid-State area but moved to East Tennessee. While I enjoy that area, I enjoy East Tennessee because of its milder weather, the mountains, and it is the home of The Tennessee Vols. Hunting, fishing, and boating are other attractions which are better in East Tennessee. Difficult to find an area better than our good ole hills of East Tennessee.

I’m in southern middle Tennessee. You get the country, but you also have outstanding access to Nashville and Huntsville.

Typically a Tennessee 4 star would be like a 3 star in Georgia or Florida. Most do not have the same level of college success plus the Tennessee teams always get smoked if they go against schools in those other states. It is still behind most of those in the South. Just is.

A couple of small mini-vans have disappeared in I-440 pot holes.

Try coming to PA, you would beg for the smoothness that is Tennessee roads. It's easy for cops to spot drunks up here, they stay straight instead of dodging the potholes.

Public schools yes, private schools, no. Ensworth, Brentwood Academy for sure along with MBA, and Christian Brothers for years held their own and could succeed against some of the strongest programs in the two states you mentioned. Carlton Flatt rolled through other states better teams while he was running BA. Some public schools take their football more seriously than others but the ones that do could do well with their counterparts from Georgia/FLA but the state is improving significantly overall.

This is the truth if I’ve ever heard it lol

Louisiana yes, Alabama no. Many of the players, especially starters you see on Bama's roster are out of state players, OR they were out of state players until their moms or dads got great new jobs their junior or senior years of high school, like their freshman QB from Hawaii that saved their axx in the NC game.
Eye test man
Saban has fed on elite in state players, especially on defense. Auburn has landed plenty of in state stars too. Then you have a guy like Bentley at South Carolina. Bama has 3 legitimate big time QB prospects in the 2019 class. Bo Nix might be the best of the bunch, going to Auburn
Tennessee’s recruiting base has definitely improved over the last 10 years but East TN is still weak overall. Chattanooga needs a boom in talent

Dude you haven't dismantled anyone. While Tennessee has better talent than it used to the quality still isn't in Alabama and Louisiana level. Your eye test should tell you that.

I'm going by the recruiting rankings. Don't care about your eye ball test.

And according to the 2019 rankings the state of Tennessee has more talent than Alabama and Louisiana.

Go and argue with 247sports and ESPN. I'm only reporting what their rankings say.

D4H, the most inconsistent man in the world.

I don’t always give takes. But when I do, they’re all over the place

Nonsense.
Don't mean to be rude...

A 4 star is a "4 star". Regardless of territory.

Not all players ranked the same or with same number of stars are equally as good.

Gonna be a long off season waiting for football. Can’t wait to see the offense and defense develop with personnel and change the schemes we’ve been used to. The new coaching staff how well they engage the players, how well the talent receives coaching. The older I get the more I consider a summer hobby.

JUST Davidson County which is Nashville. Every county surrounding liberal Davidson county votes conservative/American. And of course that happened to the former Nashville mayor- she’s a Democrat.

Voting by party affiliation instead researching which lesser evil (all politicians are liars, greedy, and power addicted by default) to vote for just shows how dumb and sheep-like politicians know voters are. So they continue to exploit them with much success and to the people's detriment. I'd do it too if people insist on being stupid and refusing to learn anything beyond the tip of their own nose. Over and out.

My point is when you add up everything.. Entertainment, Restaurants, Employment Opportunities, Airport, Healthcare, Household income, Nashville beats the rest of TN

Not to mention the great beaches, ski resorts, and amusement parks...oh wait

By coincidence, nobody gives a rat's ass abut yours either.

The players look pretty good on those sleds, etc. I hope the word about a surprisingly positive two deep sounds like a good thing.

First step was getting a southern coach who actually knows how to build a program through recruiting and coaching. I think we have that.

Next step will be to give the man time to build a program.

The players and resources are here.
