Yea. Tennessee is well represented here. But any large metropolitan area is gonna have many different fan bases. Don't get me wrong, University of Memphis is the biggest, but UT is second.

Yea, they always talk UT. It's funny when bama fans call in, he usually puts them in their place. I hate the rain man also. Lapides is a dumbass also.

I listen to Lapides for comedy. The way he raves on and on about his sponsors is just pure comedy.

Pitiful that we didn't get them; but until we get a big name coach, we will just keep plodding along...and losing HUGE recruits to other states.

He was bama no matter how slow fulmer played him. Only chance if at all would have been if bama didn't offer.

Cobb wanted to be a QB in college and we didn't pursue him for that. Simple.

TN has been a national recruiting team forever, so stop with these stupid "would of could of had so and so from TN" conversations. It's tiresome. We have so many spots and we need to get the best. Not enough TN players on good teams to say that TN players r the only ones we need to focus on.

TENNESSEE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL is subpar over all...ACCEPT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your argument is pitiful. These players were good and they were in the same state as UT. Overlooking them to get a three star player from Georgia or California or Michigan because there aren't many top level players in Tennessee high schools is ridiculous. Alabama doesn't seem to have problems with taking guys from Middle and West Tennessee. UT is just too good for that, I suppose.

I provided facts about why they didn't come to UT. Wasn't an argument. 3* in GA plays better competition then TN kids do so that could be a factor. If there is a player in west tn that we feel is really special we'll go after him I.e. Cameron Clear. In no way will we be able to survive the SEC with a majority of in state players. LSU, FL, UGA can do it but not us.

Accept it and move on cause it's been like this forever, and will continue to be that way. Not trying to be a prick but tired of this whining yr after yr after yr. Yet there wouldn't be any sympathy given to a fan base that b**ches about losing good players to UT.
