Hurst and jones are from the memphis area. Theres a lot of memphis residents for don't like tennessee. They like bama, ole miss, and miss state.

This is not true. University of Memphis, then Tennessee. Those other schools actually recruit here since Georgia is more important apparently.

Yep, no way growing up in Nashville or Memphis would mean someone doesn't like UT. Just like you expect all kids born in Lousville to love UK instead of their hometown. If I was born in Memphis i'd take Bama over UT too probably, but luckily I was born an hour from K-town so no worries.

In Memphis, you either like or hate Tennessee. Lots of Anti-Tennessee folks over here.

I basically live midway between Nashville and Memphis and most kids prefer UT. Its just hard for them to watch AL vs LSU in the national championship game and then commit to UT that lost to UK and almost everyone else in the SEC.

Once you get to the Jackson area, it becomes predominantly UT.

But, I have debated this so many times, UT needs to recruit Tennessee better. We have missed out on so many excellent players.
