We all know what Bruce Pearl has done with the players
he has had. He has turned them into great players.

But going by "out of High School" rankings on Rivals.

Tennessee has some awesome talent.


JP Prince | 5 Star | #4 Overall

Ramar Smith | 5 Star | #5 Overall

Duke Crews | 5 Star | #5 Overall

Wayne Chism | 4 Star | #8 Overall

Tyler Smith | 4 Star | #10 Overall

Chris Lofton | 3 Star | #24 Overall

When I say "Overall", I mean at their position.


I didn't feel like looking up anymore, although I couldn't fine JaJuan Smith's Recruiting Profile coming out of high school. :ermm:

Anyways, what do you "expect" Tennessee to do in basketball in the next few years.

Anybody here expect a Final 4 or better?

there's a good article on govolsxtra.com talking about BP's infatuation with the PHX suns and GS Warriors and their style of play, and that during the off season they plan on spending some time at both of their NBA training camps trying to enhance their style of play......nothing really captivating, but thought it was pretty cool.

Jajuan Smith was a walk on when he first came to UT. He only had one offer from a small school in TN(dont remember who)...

It was East Tennessee State University that offered him. The one and only scholarship offer he received...

Goes to show you can't go by number of stars, since Chism is a much better player than Crews.

King of the SEC. Final 4 is a definite possibility, we have a lot of talent right now. We have just as much coming up.

Crews was playing out of position last year, and you could tell that he didn't have to compete against too much in HS. I expect a guy with his athleticism to really break out next year, once he can move over and compliment Chism rather than having to be an undersized center/PF.

Its probably not legit.

One thing, he signed up a month ago, and only has 17 friends. Hmm? Ok. Yea right.

Another thing, you look at his pics, and they're all pics you could all find on the net.

Usually when you find the real thing, they will have personal pictures of their family up or something else.

I am a Tennessee fan. I am at every game. I never broke any rules. I never curse and carry on like some people on here. What's pathetic is how people get so upset because people try to laugh a little.

I will continue to reregister for this site. I am a Tennessee fan. I love the University. I paid them many thousands of dollars to get a degree. You guys act like I am a villian or something.

It was not intentional. I was asked not to do it once, so I never tried to "advertise" again.
I am sorry if you live a perfect life and never make a mistake. I thought everyone made mistakes.

Anyway let's talk some basketball while we can. The talent level for next year is going to be awesome. I think we can make a really deep run in the tournament.
