Tennessee and Oklahoma announce football series

That's a good series. Not sure why the 4 year spread, but I like seeing the "traditional" powers on the schedule.

That's good. I'm glad it's kinda soon too. I hate when they announce games I want to see, but they are 50 years in the future.

I agree, 50 years is too far in advance. I think anything more than 45, they should just hold off on announcing. :)

Article I read said they couldn't do back to back years because of their schedule so it had to be 4 years apart.

Definitely want to visit Norman this time around.

Glad we lined it up

I will be honest- it was one of the best road environments that I have been to. I can't take many trips anymore because of young kids, but I have been to every SEC stadium except Missouri, A&M, and LSU and also been to ND and Cal.

They probably knew they were going to beat us, but they were very nice. We were "welcomed to Norman" several times, and I had a friend of a friend whose family had a tailgate spot directly across the stadium. They scolded us for buying more beer as they wanted us to take theirs. Got a picture with the Boomer Sooner wagon and even spoke to Jamelle Holieway. I would recommend that trip.

To quote Sooner-fan, Good ol JR, it'll be a Slobberknocker. I hope to make it out there in 2020 to Norman.

I went to both games in 2014 & 2015. My thoughts on Norman and Sooners fan base...awesome! Great fans and very welcoming. No hostility. We had a blast in Norman other than the game itself. No doubt I will make the trip again in 2020. As cool as Gaylord Memorial Stadium was, it doesn't even compare to the atmosphere at Neyland Stadium.

Don't waste your time going to a Mizzou game in Columbia. Straight trash! Their fans are idiots and the stadium is a complete joke. As well as the surrounding area.

Probably true.

I don't think either team will be fielding their current coaches.

Well I hope are current coaches are still here by the time this game comes around because that means we are doing something right on the field. But more than likely not.

Sounds like our trip. I cant say anything negative about our time in Norman either other than the game itself.
