I love that we finished ahead of Penn State in Coaches poll.

Well atleast we were close to the perennial powerhouses boise state, louisville, rutgers, BYU, Wake Forest, and Boston College. And I cant believe we actually finished better than Hawaii! What a year! :eek:k:

I'm sorry. I know that Ohio State had a great year and they only have one loss...

But they're headlining, staple victories against Michigan and Texas do not look nearly as impressive now as earlier in the year.

And...THEY GOT TAKEN BEHIND THE SHED.

My personal poll (which counts for a lot):

1. Florida
2. LSU
3. USC
4. Boise St.
5. Ohio St.
6. Wisconsin
7. Louisville
8. Auburn
9. Michigan

I think it's funny that people like this, however if we would have beaten Penn State and ranked lower than them it would have been a major uproar with people saying "No respect", "ESPN hates us", etc...

Personally, I think we were the more talented team top to bottom, but we were beaten. It would not bother me one bit if they were ranked ahead of us because they got the job done, and we didn't.

We shouldn't be though... Do you get more pride finishing 23 instead of 24?

Personally, I have no pride about this year because 4 losses is not EVER a good year for Tennessee football, in my opinion.

well its doesnt really matter if we finished above penn state or not since we lost.. My personal opinon is that boise state is the one who got screwed over.. they are the only team this year to finish undefeated this year. Not to take anything away from florida they proved themesleves against ohio state..

...and evidently USC's thrashing of Michigan was worthy enough of dropping the Trojans from 2 to 7.

As for the perennial powerhouses that we finished better than: Miami, Florida State, Nebraska, Alabama and yes Penn. St.
