Ohio State finishes No. 1 in the first-ever Fan Index | For The Win

This is a testament to the resiliency and dedication of our fans, of the excitement surrounding our program, of the support we give, and hopefully of good things to come. Congrats Volnation and go Vols!

The Volunteers (6-6) were middling this season, but don’t tell their fans. For 14 of the last 16 weeks, Tennessee has ranked in the Fan Index top five. Vols fans are vocal, loyal, and extremely well-organized. Just look at the above photo.

Thanks. That is Fantastic.

How many of you feel that Florida State got more "social mentions" because of their QB (aka thug)?

""How dedicated are Georgia fans? Consider their support of suspended running back Todd Gurley. They built a shrine to him, they recorded a song about him, and petitioned President Obama to pardon him.""

I like how they point out Alabama's 1.4 million 'social mentions'.

Because half of them are probably "F*** Alabama".

Just hold your nose when scrolling through that part. Of course it didn't help when you quoted the post and added a 2nd copy of the pic. :birgits_giggle:

Tennessee's fans deserve so much more than what they have been getting out of their sports programs over the last 10 to 15 years. I am tired of complaining about coaching. Coaching and losing programs are only a symptom of a much larger problem. We replaced our AD, however next time we have a failure in a program and I need to complain, then the first person I bring up will be a certain booger eating chancellor, or a certain president whose face probably belongs on milk cartons, or a provost who probably thinks athletic programs are unimportant despite the fact they bring in millions to help pay their salaries and drain the pockets of us # 3 fans.

It's a process. We are all individuals that form a unique and insanely awesome whole. Give it time and we'll be #1. GBO

If you factor in the lack of success in athletics for the last few years, we have to be #1. Living away from the mother ship like I do, I have enjoyed many experiences where other Tennessee fans, upon spotting my colors, chase me down to talk a little football or Tennessee geography. It happened again earlier this week. It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!!!

Did anyone else notice we won the "poll trophy" for Best Field?

Maybe they meant to put that in blue font?

Agree whole heartedly. I love nothing more than seeing that Power T riding around Virginia. And (Nobody laugh) working in the moving industry I am on the open road quite a bit. I probably piss my coworkers off when I blast the horn at every Vol fan I see. But like I tell them, "That's my family."

Fact is we've always been strong. And now hopefully the team will follow suit and allow us to really show everybody who the strongest fan base in America truly is. GBO!!!

Lol @ Bama being #2. The majority of their "fans" don't even know who their previous coach is. Cheating a$$ program. I hate Alabama.
