I do too hope we both make it there. I would love to have another easy win in Atlanta.

I think that is an optimistic outlook, but then again maybe it is optimistic for me to believe the team would be slightly more fired up and ready to rumble against Alabama after such a huge embarrassment.

I think we lose to arkansas and kentucky,so we won't make the sec championship. No way our defense can stop those two.If we did play Lsu it would be ugly.Defense wins championships and our defense couldnt stop maryville high school.

UHM I BELIEVE THAT MISS ST. BLEW OUT KY.

LSU is a 7.5 point favorite against us on Saturday. I think we can win the money but I don't know about the game. Nick did say that either way he was going to give Les Miles a reverse wedgie by pulling his hat down to his beltline.

I am hoping we can hold ULL to under 21 this weekend and win the game. After that, I have no idea what is going to happen. As always, I love the spirit. Just haven't seen that team show up but for 1 half this season.

I'm with you on this one. As inconsistant as this team has been, I wouldn't count anything in or out.

Yeah, Saban is going to need more than a playclock to beat LSU..:p

Oh I totally agree. LSU will most likely win the game easily. I was just being sarcastic. A play clock can't help beat LSU anymore than it helped beat Tennessee.
The playclock had no bearing on the outcome of the UT game.

Yeah, that playclock is useless. They should just scrap it since nobody uses it.

That's not quite what I was saying. I am simply saying that the few minutes that the clock was inoperable DID NOT cause Tennessee to lose by 24 points.

I will not argue that the play clock may thrown timing off for the series that it was down but you and I both know that it did not cause Bama to win by 24 points. Bama fans were as surprised as anyone about that game. I think everyone, including the odds makers, expected a close game. Heck, who knows the next time the two teams meat the Vols may win by 50.

It would be nice to avenge '01 by keeping LSU out of the national title game. However, I have seen nothing to make me expect it to happen, but I will cheer us on all the same. My only trip to Neyland this year will be the Arky game. I am unexpectedly happy that the game is meaningful for the SEC race.

I think we will make it there...Arkansas has absolutely NO QB and I think even our defense can stop him...Play 4LB's and blitz the piss out of Mcfadden...KY is washed up, they have lost the fire they had and I think they are officially out of gas from playing WAY over their head early in the year...and that brings up Vandy...If we play Vandy will SECCG hopes alive plus the way they BEAT us at home in 05 we will demolish them...All they have is WR named Bennet and LB named Goff....Not a very good team

By that logic we will beat LSU by 30+ this weekend.

Your logic doesn't work this year.

Florida beat Tennesse 59-20
Georgia beat Florida 42-30

So, by that failed logic you use, Georgia should have beaten Tennesse by 51 points. However, Tennessee won 35-14 over the currently ranked #10 Bulldogs.

For fun, let's try another one...

Alabama beat Tennessee 42-17
Georgia beat Alabama 26-23

Again, using your failed logic, Georgia should have won by 27 points over Tennessee.

Matchups, injuries, location, etc all factor into each game individually. The Vols lead the all-time series against LSU 20-6-3. As talented as LSU was last season, it took an injured QB and blown referee call at the end of the game for LSU to pull out only their 6th win in the series against Tennessee.

Yep . . . It's clear that the transitive property definitely does not extend to the SEC this year.

Arkansas is not that good. McFadden's not getting it done and their QB is terrible. UT wins this game by 17, and wins the east.
