It's gotten better, when I graduated in 99, we were above 150.

I see this improving with CDD here. Not that this is that bad. It's just that I see CDD taking education very seriously.
I guess that explains how I graduated
I'm not sure Dooley will have much to do with the academic ranking of UT
:salute:
I disagree a bit. He's looking for recruits that are good players, but also have good character and better than average grades. Doesn't mean he won't strike out here and there, but his process for recruiting should be bringing in better students overall, and that can't do anything but help.

I see what you are saying, but I disagree a little with this. While I believe that character should play a part in a potential recruits evaluation, we wont win too many ball games focusing on bringing in "students" who are athletes. I mean look at Vandy and how competitive they are.
Here are the academic rankings for the SEC according to US News & World Report
1.) Vanderbilt 17
2.) Florida 47
3.) Georgia 58
4.) Auburn 88
5.) Alabama 96
6.) Tennessee 106
7.) South Carolina 110
8.) LSU 128
9.) Arkansas 128
10.) Kentucky 128
11.) Miss St. Tier 3
12.) Ole Miss Tier 3
Just curious whos number 1?

Sorry but it's unclear to me to what they base these rankings. Is it based on the minimum requirements for entrance to attend the school, overall student body GPA, graduating senior GPA? I'd like to know how they, US News & World Report, came up with this before I would consider the ranking valid. No sarcasm
