I have lived in Middle Tennessee for the past decade or so, and I have noticed there is a much greater mix of fans from other schools than in East Tennessee. Vol fans are probably still the majority, but there are a lot of Kentucky and Alabama fans out here. I imagine the mix is greater in West Tennessee, where Knoxville seems far away.

I grew up in West Tennesee and I would say there are fewer Vol fans because few are even familiar with the concept of college. :crazy:

Yes, because East Tennessee locals are known as a beacon of high education.k:
