Tennesee really does have the best fans in the country.... (Kinda long)

Contrary to some of the garbage you see here. Saturday on my way to the game with my family we stopped outside of Nashville to get some coffee. As I was walking inside I saw a couple dressed in orange sitting in their car with the window down. As I walked by I said hello, and asked if they were heading to the game. They said they were, and I said we would be right behind them when we left. The man asked me where I was parking, and I told him we usually parked on the strip behind Wendys. He then handed me a parking pass to the G-10 garage, and said "There you go. Drive safe and go Vols!" This worked out great for us, my aunt is having knee replacement surgery next week, and was worried about the walk to the stadium. I don't know if this guy posts here or not, but if so, thank you so much, and we truly appreciated your generosity.

Two things.

1. That's not very long, no worries.

2. Tennesee (and most southern folk in general) are very polite and courteous to strangers. Once you hit the midwest states, people get rude as hell though. This is a good example of people being kind to each other just to be kind.

Waaaaaaaaay down south, as in Florida, it's like that too. Trust me, I lived there for about 16 years, and I know.

Florida is not the South! It is North Cuba or an annex of Jersey.

On a similar note, my dad was supposed to come down here a couple of weeks ago but their plans changed and they couldn't make. I had already bought club seats and parking pass to the Dolphins/ Redskins game because he wanted to go.

I wound up giving them to a co-worker to take his son. When he asked if I wanted him to pay me, I said have a good time. People from TN do things like this.

I think the South in general is rich with hospitality. I wouldnt say Tenn. is the foremost example of it, but its one of the better places.

Florida for example, is in the South, but they are nothing like other Southerners.

im a huge vols fan and i have lived in maine my whole life but i can honestly say the few times ive been down to knoxville to visit family and watch the vols i was very impressed with how curtious and generous 99% of the people are...lets just say mainers are not the same lol... GO VOLS
